How good is the network coverage of this United Kingdom travel prepaid plan?

This is a United Kingdom local SIM card by Vodafone. You can use it freely in the UK with speeds up to 5G.

How does the activation work?

We will activate the SIM card based on the date you provided. Once we have done the activation, the card becomes active and the 28 days validity starts. You cannot change dates once this is done. Please contact us immediately before your submitted activation date if you need to change the date.

Can I turn on hotspot and share the connection with other users/devices?

Yes, you can but hotspot is only usable from the phone. It is unusable from MIFI devices.

Can I use this on my Mifi and Tablets?

No, you can't

I can call any number with the unlimited calls and SMS allowance?

You, can only call to UK numbers while you are in the UK

Can I top up?

Yes, you can top up in Vodafone shop/ Vodafone app

Can I use WhatsApp to chat and make calls with this card?

You certainly can. WhatsApp uses data for calls.

Is the data inside this card enough for my usage?

An average person consumes 4GB (4000MB) of data in a 15 days period. Much less if traveling overseas for leisure as most of the time will be spent looking at sceneries or participating in some form of outdoor activities.

Can I use this SIM card in a new phone?

Make sure you make at least 10 to 15 minutes calls and receive calls to unlock the phone so it can be used with overseas SIM cards.
