I recently purchased an eSIM from Hello1010 for my trip to New Zealand. My friends and I intentionally chose different service providers so that we would have alternatives if any particular network experienced issues.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the eSIM service. The connection was extremely slow, and there were many occasions when I could not even load basic webpages. I frequently had to ask my friends to share their mobile hotspots, and the same pages would load immediately once connected to their networks.

Throughout the trip, I found myself relying heavily on my friends' hotspots or free Wi-Fi connections because the eSIM service was often unusable.

This experience was very frustrating and significantly affected my travel experience. Based on this experience, I would be hesitant to use this eSIM service again and would likely choose international roaming from my own mobile provider for future trips instead.

I would also suggest that Hello1010 investigate this issue for travellers visiting New Zealand, as the service quality I experienced was far below expectations. If this is a broader network or connectivity issue affecting New Zealand coverage, addressing it would help improve the experience for future customers and prevent similar disappointments.

Should advise customers and to notify in your advertising materials to switch off iCloud backups, and pictures syncing with iCloud and all unrelated apps while travelling. Found out the hard way where my data was utilising 6GB within a day.

So far the purchased eSim paused no problems with reception on land tho maybe some areas further away from town could be a bit slow. Overall i am pleased with this purchase

Went to the Outback and had strong signals at town locations. Obviously at huge stretches in the remote areas, there was no signal for anyone, so that’s expected. Really easy to use. Highly recommend.

I've been using eSIM Australia & New Zealand on all my trips to Melbourne. It has never failed me. It's easy to install and provides good coverage while navigating. Can also be used to hotspot my laptop and companion.

Very good coverage for both north and south islands. No issues of hiccups. The moment I touch down at Auckland, I immediately get access to the internet.
