After a successful booking, you will receive an e-ticket from the system. Please exchange it for a paper ticket at the designated counter or ticket machine using the e-ticket and your passport. If force majeure occurs after redemption and prevents you from taking the trip, please communicate directly with local station staff to coordinate a refund. Tickets cannot be canceled after redemption through Trip.com.

How to use your ticket

  2. Show the QR code at the redemption counter to collect your ticket.

  • We appreciate your understanding.■ You can get off at any station within the valid area, but since this is not a pass, your ticket will be collected at the ticket gate.■ You can also take trains outside the designated range, but additional fees will apply.
Terms and conditions

※Redemption method:

1. Please present the voucher from your booking along with the passport of the non-Japanese booking holder, and proceed to the designated station ticket machine to exchange for a physical ticket.

If the ticket machine is out of order or your passport doesn't have an IC chip, please go to the designated station's Green Window to exchange for a physical ticket.

3. Successfully redeem your physical ticket(s).

4. Collect reserved seat ticket: Please exchange your physical ticket for a reserved seat ticket at the green ticket machine before use.

※ If you want to reserve a designated seat after exchanging your ticket at a green machine, you'll need to perform another seat reservation operation on the green machine.


* Important notes:

■ The [HARUKA ticket] is only valid for the limited express HARUKA and cannot be used on other limited express trains.

■ Within the above usage scope, you can take trains other than the limited express HARUKA (special rapid, rapid, and local trains).

■ If you take a train other than the limited express HARUKA, the non-reserved seat express ticket for HARUKA will not be refundable. We appreciate your understanding.

■ You may disembark at any valid station, but since this is not a round-trip ticket, your ticket will be collected at the ticket gate.

■ You may also take out-of-area trains, but additional fees will apply

■ If you wish to take a reserved seat or first-class car (please board car no. 1) on the limited express HARUKA, you will need to pay additional fees.

■ An additional fee is required when boarding vehicles or trains that require a numbered ticket or reserved seat ticket.

■ Reserved seat ticket redeemable once, additional redemption required when booking reserved seats at green machines or green counters

■ When reserved seat frequency is exhausted or without prior redemption of reserved seat tickets, you may directly use the pass to board non-reserved seats.
