Overview
This UK local SIM by THREE has a total of 100GB data usable in the UK. Outside the UK, the maximum data usage in 30 days is 12GB out of the 100GB quota. So even though you have bigger data, not all the quota can be used as in the 72 countries. You'll have unlimited local calls and SMS but only in countries in the UK and Europe. Hotspot is also available only in UK and Europe.
Activate in any of the 72 countries listed (avoid unsupported ones like Malaysia). If you are visiting Colombia, activate it in any of the usable countries first or it won't work.

Pro: 1. Easy to connect. Put in SIM card in Dublin, Ireland as per instructions. Was notified of my local number via SMS as per instructions.2. Responsive WhatsApp helpline.3. Mobile data worked in majority of Ireland, since my family and I visited the major cities as part of a travel tour. Con: 1. Poor connectivity throughout the Lake District region of United Kingdom. Not recommended to rely solely on this Three line for mobile GPS while on the road. 2. Unable to download Three As You Go app to check data utilization while in Ireland because the app is only downloadable in the United Kingdom.

The setting up of the sim card was easy. No fuss and worry about hidden charges since it is a prepaid product. Internet speed was great in UK (except when travelling by train through the outskirts), speed was moderate/OK in Italy. The 25gb Plan was more than enough for 3 weeks (usage: normal usage for navigation, messaging and social media).

This is my second time buying Three Travel Prepaid Plan with Hello1010. Previously it was quite smooth except in some area in Germany we only manage to get 3G signal. No problem at all in UK. This time around, our itinerary focus in UK, so I think connection is not as issue. Received the simcard shortly after made the payment. The price is way more cheaper than buying in Heathrow airport. That’s why I choose Hello1010 again.
