eSIM Installation Guide

Install your travel eSIM in a few minutes, then follow the settings for your phone.

Before you start

  1. Connect to WiFi or another internet connection before you install.
  2. Your plan starts as soon as the eSIM is installed, unless the product page says otherwise.
  3. On arrival, turn off your other lines and keep this eSIM on.

Install your eSIM

From your email

  1. 1

    Tap and hold the QR code in your email.

    Choose Add eSIM on iPhone, or Add plan to phone on Android.

Or scan from another screen

  1. 1

    Open the QR code on a laptop and scan it with your phone camera.

iPhone settings

  1. 1

    Tap Allow.

    Give the eSIM a label.

    Choose this eSIM as your Mobile Data line.

    In Mobile Service, tap the travel eSIM and turn on Data Roaming.

Android settings

  1. 1

    Tap Add.

    The eSIM is added and switched on.

    Check that Mobile data is assigned to this eSIM.

    In Mobile networks, turn on Data roaming.

Troubleshooting

It says “Activating”

After you install the eSIM, the status may show “Activating”. This is normal.

Tap and hold is not working

On iPhone, tap and hold is only available on iOS 17.4 or later. On Android, take a screenshot of the QR code and tap and hold on the saved image instead.

I have arrived and there is no signal

Turn off your other lines, keep this eSIM on, and check that Data Roaming is switched on for the travel eSIM.

When does my plan start?

Your plan starts as soon as the eSIM is installed, unless the product page says otherwise.
