Eligibility:
To qualify for the free eSIM, you must provide:
- Korea round-trip flight itinerary from Malaysia
- Proof of either:
• Minimum 2-night stay in Gangwon; OR
• Minimum 1-night stay in Gangwon plus Gangwon Tourist Taxi booking confirmation (www.gangwontaxi.com).
Step 1: Email Details
Email the required documents to klkoreaplaza@gmail.com with email subject “Gangwon eSIM Redemption - 2025 Dec 20 (your departure date)
Step 2: Receive Coupon Code
After verification, you will receive a unique promo code from Korea Plaza to redeem a FREE eSIM.
Step 3: Redeem
Enter your details and the provided promo code. A QR code will be emailed to you for activation.
Note:
- Please ensure that your device supports eSIM before redeeming.
- Google Maps, ChatGPT, and TikTok may be restricted on mobile data, but are accessible when connected to Wi-Fi.
- If your device does not support eSIM, use coupon code VISITGANGWON12 to enjoy 12% off on the physical SIMs.
Terms and conditions
- Valid for travel between 1 December 2025 – 31 March 2026 only.
- Applicable for flights departing from Malaysia only.
- Each unique PNR/flight booking reference number is valid for one-time redemption.
- Each passenger listed on the flight itinerary is entitled to one free eSIM. (Please refrain from sending multiple emails under the same flight booking reference.)
- Required documents must be submitted in PDF format. Screenshots are not encouraged.
- Please allow 3-7 working days for document verification.
- All the unique promo codes MUST be redeemed latest by 31 March 2026, otherwise they will expire.
- Redemption is on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
- Each unique promo code is valid for one free eSIM and cannot be sold, returned, or exchanged.
