Overview
Two towers are joined at the top by an open-air ring 173 metres above Osaka, and this ticket takes you up to it. You walk around the rooftop with no glass between you and the view, which makes it one of the few observatories in Japan where that is true.

- Cross between the towers on the glass escalator, suspended in the open air.

What to expect
Cafe SKY 40 on the 40th floor serves drinks, including a colourful soda float topped with soft serve ice cream, and heart-shaped icing cookies are sold on site. You can also buy a heart-shaped padlock in a choice of 11 colours, have your names and the date engraved on it, and attach it to the fence on the Lumi Deck on the roof.
Things to note
- It is busier during cherry blossom season, autumn and public holidays, so booking ahead is recommended.
- The open-air rooftop may close in strong winds or heavy rain, but the indoor observation areas stay open.
- There is no dress code. Bring a light jacket, as the rooftop can be cooler, especially in the evening.
- Dining options are available within the building.
