Opening hours
Every day 10:00 to 18:00, and 09:30 to 18:30 on public and school holidays.
Last entry is one hour before closing.
What to expect
Exhibits include an Arapaima in the Preview Tank, a river ecosystem with freshwater fish and reptiles, and a rainforest aviary with flamingoes, macaws and marmosets. The temperate section has South American fur seals and African penguins, and there is also a "Sunken Ship" themed hexagonal tank, an outdoor koi pond, and invertebrate and coral reef sections. The tunnel tank is 15 metres long, and visitors should take care around the venomous moray eels and lionfish.
Things to note
- Children must be accompanied by an adult guardian at all times.
- The aquarium is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged belongings, so keep valuables secure.
- Visitors with heart problems, epilepsy or vertigo, or who are pregnant, should consult a healthcare professional before visiting.
- Do not touch or feed the animals unless staff say it is allowed.
- Weapons, sharp objects, illegal substances and outside food and drink are not allowed inside.
