How will I get the QR code to install this eSIM?

Once purchased, you will receive a QR code via email. You must activate it within 30 days at your destination, or the plan will expire.

Can I scan and install the data plan and use it later?

You can install the plan by scanning the QR code before your departure but take note once the QR code is scanned, the days' validity period will commence. Ensure that you connect to an available WiFi network for the installation of the data plan. Be sure to plan your usage according to the number of days the SIM card will remain valid.

A verification code is prompted after scanning the QR code. What should I enter?

Please refer to your QR code email to find your 4-digit verification code and enter it when prompted.

What happens if I enter the wrong verification code?

Enter the correct verification code from your QR email when prompted. Multiple incorrect attempts will lock the eSIM. Once locked, no refund or replacement will be provided.

Can I install the plan without an active internet connection?

No. You must be connected to WiFi or an internet connection to install this plan.

Can I transfer my eSIM from one phone to another phone?

Once the eSIM code is scanned on one phone, it cannot be transferred to another phone because the plan tied to the code is specific to the original phone it was scanned on.

After installing the eSIM, can I delete it and reinstall?

No, once you remove or delete the eSIM plan from your device, it cannot be reinstalled and we will not be able to reissue new eSIM to you. Refund is not applicable for this said case.

My existing local phone number is an eSIM line. Can I still use this eSIM together with my local eSIM phone number?

Phones have the capability to install multiple eSIM profiles, but their active use is limited to just one (1) or a maximum of two (2) eSIMs concurrently. For instance, Samsung phones that support eSIM functionality can utilize just one (1) eSIM at a time, in addition to one (1) physical SIM card. Therefore, you have the option to temporarily deactivate your local phone number eSIM and switch to this eSIM for your travel needs, or you can opt for a physical travel SIM card and operate both lines simultaneously.

How good is the network coverage of this eSIM United Kingdom and Europe Three?

This is primarily a United Kingdom eSIM by the Three Network. You can use it freely in the UK with speeds up to 5G. When you use it outside the UK, the speed will depend on the country's network coverage.

I am going to Colombia. Can I use this eSIM there?

Yes, BUT you have to use it first in one of the 72 countries listed, or else it cannot be activated in Colombia. If you are not visiting or stopover at the other countries listed, then please do not purchase this eSIM as you will not be able to use it solely in Columbia.

Can I turn on hotspot and share the connection with other users/devices?

Yes, you can! But hotspot is only available in the UK and Europe.

If I finish using my data, will I still be able to surf the internet at a slower speed?

No, you cannot.

Can I top up data once data is finished?

Outside the UK, the roaming allowance depends on your plan and applies over 30 days: 6GB on the 40GB plan, 12GB on the 100GB plan, 18GB on the 200GB plan and 30GB on the Unlimited plan. Once you reach your plan's roaming allowance, topping up will not give you more roaming data.

Can I call any number with the unlimited calls and SMS allowance?

You can only make local calls within countries in UK and Europe. However, cross-country calls and calls to toll-free numbers are not allowed.

Will I be charged for receiving calls from Malaysia?

As long as you are in any of the listed 72 countries, receiving calls from anywhere around the world is free.

What happen if I make a call exceeding 20 minutes at a time?

It may trigger Three's fraud detection system and will result in your eSIM being barred. There is nothing we can do to unbar your eSIM. Read other prohibited uses here.

Can I use WhatsApp to chat and make calls with this card?

You certainly can. Using WhatsApp to call saves you money.

Is the data inside this card enough for my usage?

An average person consumes 4GB (4000MB) of data in a 15-day period. Much less if traveling overseas for leisure as most of the time will be spent looking at sceneries or participating in some form of outdoor activities.

Can I use this eSIM in a new phone?

Make sure you make at least 10 to 15-minute calls and receive calls to unlock the phone so it can be used with overseas SIM cards.
